The new Mitchell County License Plate Agency office which is located in the old Sears store next to the Mitchell County Safeplace Thrift store in the Spruce Pine Shopping Center is pictured above. The current location will be closed Thursday and Friday (July 17 & 18) for the move, with the new office opening at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
