Come join Home Remedies for a FREE 6-week yoga movement series in Spruce Pine from 11am-12pm starting August 11! Led by Nichole Falco of Mineral City Yoga, this series focuses on “Joints and Glands” — and it’s perfect for all experience levels.
The series will run every Monday from August 11 to September 22, except Labor Day on September 1st. Class size is currently limited to 15, so please register early for the sessions you plan to attend: bit.ly/hr-yoga-2025. Whether you’re totally new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you’re welcome to participate!
This free class takes a gentle, feel-good approach that helps you take care of both your body and mind. You’ll move through easy stretches and poses designed to help with flexibility, ease joint stiffness, and support your body’s natural balance through calm, mindful movement. It’s great if you’re looking to relax, de-stress, or simply take some time for yourself. Come enjoy a peaceful, supportive space to move, breathe, and feel better. We’d love to see you there!
Yoga mats and blocks will be available to use during the sessions if you don’t have your own. Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket or towel to use as a bolster if they need additional support. Chairs will be available for those unable to be on the floor. If you have questions about your physical ability to participate, please contact Nichole at connect@mineralcityyoga.com.
The focus of the Home Remedies program is to provide proven, effective, and safe options to improve quality of life, with a goal of preventing and/or reducing the use of medications. Home Remedies also offers free, online courses with strategies for pain management and stress reduction, presented by local complementary health providers. These practices include physical therapy, massage, mindfulness, examination of thought patterns, nutrition, and Tai Chi.
The online course is freely available to access at your own pace and convenience. You can register by visiting www.path-homeremedies.org.
