Carrie Alice Ledford, age 86, of the Cane Creek community went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at the Yancey House. Carrie was a daughter to the late James and Emmer Deal Glazebrooks. She is also proceeded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Carrie was a devoted member of Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church since 1986. She loved her Lord and church family very dearly.
Carrie enjoyed doing any type of crafts she could get her hands on, along with watching old westerns and Andy Griffith on T.V. More than anything she loved spending time with her family and cooking for them any chance she got, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carrie was loved and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Hazen Ledford, Jr.; daughter, Donna Ledford Crader; grandchildren: Kari Ogburn and Kirsten McKinney (Dustin); great-grandchildren: Adam, Adrian, Kendrick, Crixus, Koda, Hope, Macy, Baylor, Lexi and Nehemiah; brother, Ralph Glazebrooks. Several other extended family members also survive.
