Gibbs Lynn Whitson, infant son of Adrian Whitson and Georgina Hughes went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.
Gibbs is survived by his father and mother; Adrian Whitson and Georgina Hughes, his maternal grandmother; Patsy Hughes of Bakersville, his maternal grandfather; George Hughes of Bakersville, his paternal grandparents; Mike and Becky Whitson of Burnsville, his maternal great grandmother; Estelle Bryant of Burnsville, his paternal great grandmother; Willa Mae Whitson of Burnsville, his maternal aunts; Lisa Calhoun and Barbara Garland both of Bakersville, his maternal uncle; Chris Hughes of White Bear Lake, MN, and his paternal aunt; Alicia Shinn of Weaverville.
Graveside services and interment will be on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 in the Hughes Cemetery with the Rev. Blaine Whitson officiating.
