Keith Dwight Renfro, age 66, went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at his home. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of Betty Hughes Renfro and the late Dock Renfro.
Keith loved his church and was a member of Plum Branch Baptist Church. He loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his world.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Renfro of Green Mountain; their son, Adam Renfro (Monika) of Spruce Pine; his beloved grandchildren: Rebekah Grace and Emory Jude; two sisters: Audrey Moore (Gary) of Spruce Pine and Marlene Harrell (Freddie) of Buladean; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 12th, in the chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. Stacy Elkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Horton Hill. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
