A Community Celebration will be held September 27th at Open Door Baptist Church on the Corner of 19E and 194 in Newland. They’ll be cooking 1,000 chicken dinners on sight beginning at 11am and going until around 3pm and give away T-shirts and have other giveaways, things for the children, crafts and activities for the children to do and live bluegrass gospel singing.
