Elizabeth Anne Wilson Fowler, age 71 of Spruce Pine passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Elizabeth Allen Wilson. Mrs. Fowler was a school teacher for many years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Wilson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Rev. John Fowler; sons Stephen Fowler of Spruce Pine, NC and Phillip Fowler (Holly) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; daughter Cat Sweetland (Seth Coffrin) of Bainbridge Island, WA; grandsons, Harrison Fowler and Theo Coffrin; granddaughters, Savannah Fowler and Chloe Coffrin; brother, David Wilson of Wilmington, NC and sister Martha Lou Luce (Jon) of Lakeland, FL.
A memorial service for Mrs. Fowler will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 18, 2025 at the Spruce Pine United Methodist Church with the Rev. Holly Cobb McKim officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service hour. Inurnment will follow at the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
