North Carolina’s largest faith-based policy conference, the 2025 NC Faith & Freedom Salt & Light Conference, will hold their 8th annual gathering this weekend at Nebo Crossing Church located at 263 Barnes Rd. in Marion, NC.  The conference stands as a rallying point for those committed to championing conservative Christian values following the assassination of Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk.

Organizers at NC Faith & Freedom expect over 2,000 in attendance over the three-day gathering. The conference will welcome speakers and attendees from across the country as Western North Carolina marks the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. According to Jason Williams, Executive Director of NC Faith and Freedom, the organization has added recognition to leaders involved in both the hurricane relief and the ongoing work of Turning Point USA.

This is not a virtual event—our speakers appear live and in person. Attendees are encouraged to leave empowered with actionable strategies to uphold the Christian beliefs in the voting booth and the public square. Participants don’t just listen to the stage presentations; they are part of the conversation. The goal of the conference is to strengthen the faith of attendees to help amplify their voices to be a catalyst for change.

Keynote speakers include Ben Carson, 17th United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Fox News Hosts Rachel Campos-Duffy and Joe Concha, NewsMax Host Todd Starnes, Trump 47 Inaugural Pastor Sewell, Former Country Music Artist Granger Smith, Mark Walker, US Ambassador Designate At-Large for International Religious Freedom, Nick Adams,  US Ambassador-Designate to Malaysia, and Congressman Mark Harris. Turning Point USA contributors Brilyn Hollyhand and Brandon Tatum will also offer remarks. A complete list of speakers is available at NCFaithandFreedom.com/#Speakers

Organizers expected the 18th United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, to offer remarks and a FEMA update on the rebuilding efforts across Western North Carolina, but unfortunately, her office confirmed she will not be in attendance due to an unforeseen scheduling change.
