Mitchell Students Earn ServSafe Manager Certification

Ten Mitchell High students in Mrs. McClellan’s Food and Nutrition II class recently earned the ServSafe Manager Certification.  This certification is an industry recognized credential that focuses on preventing foodborne illness in food service.  This certification can help students earn more money per hour in food service jobs and demonstrate to an employer a comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.  We are extremely proud of these students for exhibiting hard work and determination to excel in earning this certification.
