Elizabeth Waycaster Wise

Elizabeth Waycaster Wise, age 74, of the Green Valley Community, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5th, 2025.  A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Margaret McKinney Waycaster, and the wife of Delmar Gene Wise.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Robinson, and a brother, David Waycaster.

Elizabeth was the office administrator for their family business, G & R Power Equipment for a number of years.  She was a member of Mt. In addition to her loving husband of 57 years, Delmar Gene Wise of Spruce Pine, she is survived by their son, Rodney Wise; grandson, Kaiden Wise of Spruce Pine; a brother, Paul Waycaster (Sondra) of Spruce Pine; and special friends:  Candi and Ricky Hall, and Lela Rhyne.
