As a part of HCA Healthcare, Blue Ridge Regional Hospital is committed to improving more lives in more ways. Blue Ridge Regional Hospital is proud to partner with local law enforcement and other local agencies in support of the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in the fight against medication misuse and opioid addiction. Crush the Crisis events aim to educate our communities on the risk of medication misuse while providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of medications that may be left over from previous procedures or other medical visits.

To help keep members of our communities safe, Crush the Crisis Prescription Drug Take Back Day events will adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention safety protocols.
Since expanding Crush the Crisis as a nationwide initiative in 2019, our colleagues have helped to safely dispose of more than 88,600 pounds of unused or expired medication. That journey moves forward in 2025 as we continue on the road to our overall goal of 100,000 pounds of collected medication. But we can’t do it without your help! |
