Mitchell Youth Wrestling will begin practicing Monday, October 27th and will practice Thursday, October 30th before attending WrestleMaina at Avery County High School this Saturday.
Mitchell Youth Wrestling is open to boys AND girls K-5th grade and practices twice per week at Mitchell High School. Registration forms can be completed at the first practice, or are also available in the office at Mitchell Elementary, Geouge, and Greenlee.

Mitchell HIGH School wrestling will also kick off the season this week with our annual “Midnight Madness” practice on Wednesday, October 29th at 12:01AM. The first after school practice will take place Thursday, October 30th, and the Mountaineers will travel to Rosman next week for their first scrimmage of the season! Mitchell High has both a men’s and women’s wrestling program, and is actively seeking a female volunteer wrestling coach to assist with their women’s program!
