The Toe River Project Access is hosting two free and unbiased ACA Marketplace Enrollment Events on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Assistance will be provided to help individuals and families enroll in health coverage for 2026 and determine eligibility for tax subsidies.
- Yancey County Health Department – 202 Medical Campus Dr, Burnsville, NC 28714: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Mitchell County Health Department – 130 Forest Service Dr., Suite A, Bakersville, NC 28705: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Need to provide the following information for each household member applying: • Social Security numbers • Dates of birth • Total household income
Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can also be scheduled.
