Congratulations to the students in Ms. Peterson’s 3rd block Foods and Nutrition 1 class who obtained their ServSafe Food Handler Certification. This is a valuable certification for any student who plans on working in the food service industry. A ServSafe Food Handler certification shows that you understand basic food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen practices. With it, you can work entry-level positions in restaurants, cafes, school cafeterias, catering, and other foodservice jobs. It helps employers trust that you know how to handle food safely and prevent foodborne illness.
