The Parkway Playhouse has announced their new Executive Director, Melanie Veazey!
Melanie joins the leadership team with an extensive background in arts administration, creative development, and performance. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the nation’s most rigorous conservatory programs.
She has previously served Parkway Playhouse as Vocal Director and is the founder and former Executive Director of two arts organizations, where she oversaw strategic planning, program expansion, fundraising, and community partnerships. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, her commitment to artist development, and her dedication to ensuring that arts programming remains accessible to audiences of all ages.
As she steps into her new role, Melanie is excited to guide Parkway Playhouse into its next chapter with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and community engagement while honoring the theater’s 79-year legacy.
