Janice went to her heavenly home on January 16, 2026.She was born to Gordon and Wilma Howell on August 6, 1957. Janice was a special needs person who was a blessing to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father. Janice is survived by her mother and two brothers, Gordon Kenneth Howell Jr. (Jeanne Martin) of Chapel Hill, NC and Lloyd Martin Howell (Lynn) of Kingsport, TN; four aunts, Evelyn Hoyle Byrd and Kim Hoyle of Spruce Pine, Imogene Hoyle of Boiling Springs, NC, and Shelby Jean McMahan (Hubert) of Asheville, NC; two uncles, Roy Howell of Little Rock, AR, and Ben Ray Howell of Little River, SC; and a special cousin Sondra Hoyle Waycaster (Paul) of Spruce Pine.
Funeral services will be held at Webb Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 12:00 pm. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Larry Greene and Pastors Brent Frady and GE Freeman. Kim Hoyle will sing one of Janice’s favorite songs.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be at Rebels Creek Cemetery.
Chasity Miller and Maddison Garland, who have taken care of Janice for several years, will close the service with the prayer they said with her every night.
