Doris Jean Ricker, Née Kibbe, born in Arkwright, New York in 1931, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on February 16th, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gordon Ricker and her parents, Allie and Doris Chase Kibbe.
She served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1954 and was the mother of three children.
Jean was a longtime and beloved member of the Bolens Creek and greater Burnsville community. During the fifty years she lived on Larkspur Drive,
She helped three dear friends as they approached the end of their lives, offering companionship and support. Jean had a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humor.
She enjoyed hard work, hiking; especially to waterfalls and meals at Okie Dokies Smokehouse truck.
Jean lived simply, worked hard and cared deeply for those around her. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
