Tylor R. Holzhauser

Tylor R. Holzhauser, age 27 of Leicester, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 13th, 2026. He was a son of Joshua and Tina Marie Riddle. Tylor was proceeded in death by a brother-in-law Brian Hughes and an uncle Rickey Hensley.

A devoted follower of Christ, Tylor found great joy in preaching God’s Word and sharing his faith with others. He spoke with conviction, compassion, and a heart devoted to serving the Lord. His faith was not just something he talked about—it was something he lived every day.

Outside of his ministry, Tylor embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle, feeling the open road beneath him and the wind at his back. He also enjoyed unwinding with video games, where his competitive spirit and sense of fun always shone through.

Family meant everything to him. He treasured time spent laughing, talking, and simply being present with those he loved most. Whether bowling a few frames, roller skating with a smile, or just enjoying a quiet evening together, he created memories that will be cherished forever.

He will be remembered for his strong faith, generous heart, playful spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His life touched many, and his impact will continue in the hearts of all who knew him.

Surviving is his parents Joshua and Tina Marie Riddle. Brother: Joshua D. Riddle Jr. (Tana Raune) of Burnsville; Sister: Shelby Hughes-Holzhauser of Burnsville; Nephew: Carter Hughes of Burnsville; a Niece Brianna Hughes of Burnsville; Uncles: Jason Laws (Alicia) of Burnsville; Keith Warren of Winston Salem, Keith Holzhauser of Warren Robins GA; Grandmother: Colleen Warren of Mars Hill; Cousins: Keith, Samantha, Mariah, Alex, and Brianna Holzhauser.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26th at Yancey Funeral Services. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor John Burell officiating. Interment will follow the services.

Though he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that he has finished his race and is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
