
Blue Ridge Regional Hospital is proud to announce that Marie Johnson, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), has been honored with the BEE Award (Being Exceptional Everyday). This recognition celebrates staff members who go above and beyond to provide extraordinary care and support to patients.
Marie was nominated by a patient who praised her not only for her technical skill but for her dedication to patient education. In the nomination, the patient noted that Marie’s guidance on breathing techniques and COPD management gave them the confidence to stay healthy at home. The nominator stated, “She showed compassion, kindness, care, and a real desire to help me live my best and healthiest life”.
