Sylvia Gabriele Badschild, age 79, passed peacefully at home on Sunday, March 15th 2026. Born in Munich, Germany she moved to Burnsville in 1978.
She was a devoted wife and business partner to her husband, a loving mother to their children and an indulgent grandmother. She was full of energy and could accomplish more in a day, than most ever could in a week. She was a successful chef in her restaurant an attentive housekeeper in her motel and a meticulous homemaker for her family. Her work ethic was astounding. Her husband always admitted he built his empire on her shoulders. She will be remembered for her delicious dishes and her sweet dance moves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Badschild. Her mother Gabriele Bürgle and her son Alex Badschild.
She is survived by her stepdaughters: Daniela Busetti (Dieter), Beatrix Badschild (Franz); daughter, Vanessa Schilling (Cooper); their children: Christian Busetti (Kristina) Jessica Busetti, Jasmin Busetti, Sebastian Fuchs, Sarah Fuchs, Jace Schilling, Xander Schilling and Kayden Badschild.
An informal Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
