Michael Austin Webb, age 64, of the Prices Creek Community, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Mike was preceded in death by his late wife, Judy McKinney Webb, with whom he is finally reunited. He was also preceded in death by his father, Bob Webb.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Ruth Webb; a son, BJ Webb and wife, Amanda; a sister, Bobbie Ruth Leibowitz and husband, David; step grandchildren, Jackson and Savannah; and a grandson, William, who was the light of his life. Many other family members and faithful friends also survive.
Mike was a loving father and grandfather and a faithful friend to many. He was reliable and always there when he was needed. He loved trucking, NASCAR, and golfing, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his best friend and grandson, Willy. Hardly a day passed that he didn’t visit or come pick him up for a ride on the side-by-side. He was the best “Pop,” and we are going to feel his absence greatly. We rest on the promise that we will one day be with him again in eternity. Until then, we will miss you, think of you, and tell Willy about all the wonderful things you did together. We love you, Pop.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30th, 2026 in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Pastor Tommy Murphy will be officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones two hours prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the Fairview Cemetery at Horton Hill in Green Mountain, NC.
