We are winding up spring color reports this week as we look toward summer at Grandfather. Blooms still abound on the mountain whether growing wild in the landscape or in the Cobey Botanical Garden.
Grandfather Mountain celebrates the birthdays of all the habitat animals once a year. This year’s Animal Birthday Party is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10. A robust schedule of games, contests, birthday cake, a habitat parade and making cards and enrichments for the animals is included in park admission!
