During the week of June 16 – 21, members from Mitchell High School HOSA (Future Health Professionals) attended the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis.
Approximately 15,000 members attended this year’s conference, celebrating the milestone of 50 years of HOSA.
Advisor, Mrs. Katy Grindstaff, and officers, Rue Rambo-Mohr and Sophia Morgan, networked with fellow HOSA members and healthcare professionals, attended leadership sessions, and participated in valuable health career workshops.
Rue also had the opportunity to represent Mitchell and NC HOSA to compete against students from around the world in Veterinary Science Competition at the Indianapolis Zoo, where she placed as a top 25 2nd round finalist.
