Deborah “Debbie” Anglin, age 72, of Burnsville, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
A native of Burnsville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John Robert “Bob” and Barbara June (Ayers) Anglin. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Anaweg Wilson (Bucky) of Burnsville and son, Willie Walkingstick of Spruce Pine; granddaughters: Kyleigh Bradford (Jonathan) and Alexis Jones (Cameron), grandsons: Dylan Honeycutt, Spencer Ramsey (Keely), and Garrett Wilson; sister, Kathy Pittman (Ronnie); brother, Willie “Ronnie” Anglin (Joyce); and 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Additionally, she is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Mitchell and a brother, Steve Anglin.
Debbie will be remembered as a loving mother and Nanny, as well as for her faithful love to all of her family members. She loved her home in the holler, and her joy and big laughter will forever be missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Cane River Baptist Church followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm. Pastor Ronnie Anglin and Pastor Ronnie Pittman will be officiating.
