Mountain Community Health Partnership is continuing its expansion of its healthcare services across Mitchell and Yancey counties.
MCHP currently operates offices in Bakersville, Burnsville, Celo and Spruce Pine, with an expanded facility under construction in the Grassy Creek area of Spruce Pine.
The organization is also adding a new mobile health center, made possible through support from three separate grant funding sources.
MCHP says the mobile facility will allow healthcare services to be brought directly into communities, reducing barriers to care and improving access for patients. The organization says the mobile health center represents a significant investment in its mission and will strengthen partnerships throughout the communities it serves.
