There is a difference between opinions and facts. There is a difference between informed opinions and those that are ignorant of the facts, misinformed, naive, scummy, scammy or just plain mean. Misinformation or disinformation that is playing fast and loose with those distinctions is dangerous. It leads people down rabbit holes and into taking dangerous actions. I realize that there are people commenting here who are just entertaining themselves, others are frustrated or paranoid and just want to be heard. They don’t take action. They don’t DO anything. But some of them or some of those who read their “opinions” do then feel the need to act based on fictions and uninformed opinions. That’s tragic and avoidable. It’s dangerous. Some of our neighbors have lost family and loved ones down those rabbit holes, led there by “opinions.” Tragic. Avoidable. Mean.
