The person who is better off than four years ago probably has some form of government related job unaffected by the economy. Us small business people without guaranteed income feel he affects of inflation and people not having any extra spending money. People are having to spend it on higher groceries (have you checked the price of meat lately?) higher gas and fuel oil. I’m happy that you are doing well and have enough extra not to be bothered by higher prices but check with some of your neighbors that don’t have guaranteed income.
