While I am really no fan of the current administration in DC and goodness knows in the past I’ve had my issues with the Mitchell County Board of Commissioners, I do recognize that the former were legitimately elected and the latter’s redness (or not) has little to nothing to do with the subdivision ordinance or the relative growth of nearby counties. Try reading the constitution you like to cite, folks. Check out the history surrounding it if you want that context. It just doesn’t support or deny what you seem to think it does.
