Kevin Lee Dellinger, age 61, of Micaville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Charles and Hazel Shelton Dellinger.
Kevin loved his animals, especially his dog, Bonnie and his cats, Amelia and Clyde. One of the things he enjoyed was having coffee with his group of friends at Pig & Grits every morning. He loved camping at South Toe River, photography and riding motorcycles.
Surviving is his daughter, Taylor Johnson and husband, Levi, of Green Mountain; granddaughter, Harper Johnson; step-daughter, Belinda Blankenship of Black Mountain and a special friend, Diana O’Rourke of New York.
A time to visit with the family will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 23rd in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. A private memorial service for close family and friends will be held at a later date.
