Full STEAM Ahead Carolina and Iron Dragons FTC Robotics Team 16582 are hosting the Second Annual Sumo Bots Tournament at Higgins United Methodist Church Family Life Center, April 1st from 8:30 to 4pm. Fifteen Sumotori robotics teams will compete for bragging rights of the Head Yokozuna, Grand Champion.
The Iron Dragons have been hosting workshops on Tuesday Nights at First Presbyterian Church and at Cane River Middle School during Club Days. Several teams will be joining from the Charlotte and Shelby area.
Full STEAM Ahead Carolina will be demonstrating all the robotics programs currently offered for all ages. The Iron Dragons will be serving Hot Dogs, Chips, Drinks and Desserts for a fundraising lunch. A silent auction and raffles will take place. Prizes for winning robots, and team awards will be awarded.
