Wyatt Minton Shade, age 59, of the Burnsville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 1st, 2023.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, his Mother Margret Shade, his Father Paul Shade and his niece, Amara Shade. Wyatt was a member of Griffith Chapel Church.
Surviving is his daughter, Felishia and her son, Mason of Greer, SC; brother, Bill of Burnsville; sister, Sonya (Ed) of Green Mountain; brother, Stephen (Nola) of Burnsville; sister, Katrina (Brandon) of Arden; sister, Renee (Eddie) of Burnsville; and sister, Cassandra (Christopher) of Burnsville. Nineteen nieces and nephews as well as many other extended family members also survive.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 5th, 2023. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. Richard Blanton will officate.
A private interment will be held at a later date in the Horton Hill Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his mother.
