Edward Dale Robinson, age 77, of Burnsville, passed away on Monday, April 3rd, 2023 at his home. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Handy and Lizzie Gardner Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Christine Hughes Robinson; sisters: Willianne Hall, Lucille Robinson and Wilma Street and a grandson, Austin Hensley. Edward was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He enjoyed a good cup of coffee, western movies and especially his family. He was a friend to all, patient and easy going.
Surviving is his daughter, Donna Hensley (Kyle) of Burnsville; Chris Robinson of Spruce Pine and Tim Robinson (Heather) of Burnsville; grandchildren: Zachary and Haile; brother, Robert Robinson (Mary Lee) of Double Island; aunt, Mildred Dellinger and sisters-in-law: Linda Hughes and Sherry Edwards. Several other extended family members also survive.
