Capitalization

I capitalize Black because it recognizes an ethnic identity in the United States. I don’t capitalize white because the only people who I have seen do that are white supremacists and people trying to start race wars, none of which I think many of us want to be a part of or want to happen. Capitalizing Black doesn’t mean one race is more important than another race. It’s no different than capitalizing Scots Irish Americans, something I also do.
