Mitchell County Transportation has filed their report with the National Rural Transit Assistance Program (NRTAP) about The Pine Line, the free bus route that has been running in Spruce Pine since November, 2021. As part of their report, Mitchell County has produced a video about the route, its origins, and how it provides a needed service for riders.
