Women aren’t an ism

I see now why one poster felt the need to clarify the quote they used about women was not from the Bible, but from a play. The person who discounted the quote because it wasn’t in the Bible also confidently doesn’t know much about the feminist movement. She defines it in a way and with intentions no feminist I know would recognize. While the feminist movement has changed over time, a trend and willingness I consider positive, based on experience and reading of those who were actively involved, it never espoused what she thinks or was told it did.
