Arrest:
Christopher McKinney, 36 of Bakersville, NC. Detective J. Masters arrested McKinney for misdemeanor possession of sch 2 controlled substance, assault on a female and communicating threats. He was issued $3,500.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 7/12/2023.
James Stevens, 35 of Bakersville, NC. Detective J. Masters arrested Stevens for misdemeanor violation of a domestic violence protection order. He was issued a “no bond” and scheduled to appear in court on 7/12/2023.
Jeremy Chad Honeycutt, 46 of Bakersville, NC. Deputy D. LaPlante arrested Honeycutt for felony probation violations. He was issued a secure bond and scheduled to appear in court.
Joey Ray Stout, 43 of Bakersville, NC. Deputy D. LaPlante arrested Stout for felony buy/sell/alter gun serial number, misdemeanor violation of a domestic violence protection order. He was issued $7,500.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 6/29/2023.
Jeffery Chad Ledford, 49 of Bakersville, NC. Detective J. Masters arrested Ledford for felony possess sch II controlled substance, possession intent/sell/manufacture/deliver sch II controlled substance, possession intent/sell/manufacture/deliver sch VI controlled substance and misdemeanor possess drug paraphernalia. He was issued $50,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 7/12/2023.
Dorothy Ann Parker, 56 of Spruce Pine, NC. Deputy W. Hobson arrested Parker for misdemeanor damage to property. She was issued $300.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 7/12/2023.
Clifton Edward Bowden, 65 of Roan Mountain, TN. Lieutenant D. Holmes arrested Bowden for misdemeanor intoxicated and disruptive and resisting a public officer. He was issued $1,500.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 6/29/2023.
Christopher Michael Gouge, 48 of Bakersville, NC. Lieutenant Detective A. Beam arrested Gouge for misdemeanor injury to real property, breaking or entering, three counts of resisting public officer, go armed to the terror of the public and felony break/enter terrorize/injure. He was issued $33,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court.
Nicholas Grant Mendenhall, 40 of Kingsport, TN. Deputy B. Hollifield arrested Mendenhall for impaired driving. He was issued a bond and scheduled to appear in court.
