Charles worked at Henredon Furniture for 25 years before discovering his love for truck driving, thanks to his father-in- law Donald Boone who showed him the ropes and got him his first truck driving job with Ledford Trucking in 1994. It was then that he became “Handyman.”
He also leaves behind his work family at Feldspar Trucking. He began driving for Feldspar Trucking in 2003 and was proud of the fact that he was one of the drivers that had never “quit and come back.” He was proud to be a part of this company and truly gave it his all. He had many friends at Feldspar and they were truly as good to him in return. Thank you Bill Norris, Jim Norris, Jimmy Correll and especially Brandi Correll, the one that Handyman thought could fix anything.
