No one I know or listen to, least of all me, is saying no one is struggling. And anyone who thinks trying to prepare and change the food and farming system in this country is something new hasn’t been paying attention for a very long time. Those of us who have been talking to, working with and buying from our local farmers, or raising food ourselves could have shared that with anyone interested a long time ago. We’ve not only been preparing and helping our neighbors who don’t have the resources to, but communicating the need for change since long before this latest batch of youtubers trying to sell you prep kits.
