How many more AGAIN?

So reportedly at least some of the teachers that have left MHHS since the end of the school year for teaching positions elsewhere went back to the neighboring counties they left to come to MHHS back when their local school board and system treated them worse than MHHS. Now it’s reversed, but sooner or later the bar will just be so low that they’ll simply quit. This is a ongoing problem in this country and state, not just in Yancey County. We can not continue to lose some really good and highly qualified educators because of politics and some greedy take on economics and labor. We can’t continue to settle for some really bad or at least not so good teachers because politicians and economists are racing to the bottom and the bar keeps lowering. If you consider ALL our children and not just the chosen ones, our children have been suffering for a very long time.
