Joshua Lane Grindstaff, 20 of Bakersville, NC. Captain C. Hobson arrested Grindstaff for two counts of felony abduction of a child. He was issued $50,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 8/15/2023.
Richard Maurice Banks Jr., 29 of Bakersville, NC. Deputy W. Hobson arrested Banks for failure to appear in Yancey County Court on misdemeanor charges. He was issued $3,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in Yancey County Court on 9/14/2023.
James Stevens, 35 of Bakersville, NC. Detective J. Masters arrested Stevens for misdemeanor violation of a domestic violence protection order, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
