Mountain Piecemakers Quilt Guild will meet in the Burnsville Town Center on Tuesday September 12 at 6 pm for social time, with business meeting at 6:30. Our speaker for this meeting is Leah Brennan. Leah Brennan is a fitness instructor at Mountain Air. She will lead the group in simple exercises for quilters and those who do handwork. Leah holds professional certification as a Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, Health Coach and Functional Training Specialist. Visitors are welcome. This opportunity quilt benefits the community service projects we do Project Linus for needy children and Veteran Quilts distributed in November at Flags for Heroes Day.
