Leslie Glenn Brewer, age 77, of Henredon Plant Road in Spruce Pine passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.
Born in Mitchell County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Lloyd Glenn Sr, and Eula Mace Glenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in law, John Combs, brother, Harrison Glenn and a sister, Gladis Glenn. Leslie was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of sixty years Henry Brewer of the home, daughters, Katrina Combs of Greenville, NC and Lisa Wiggins and husband James of Bryson City, NC, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Lloyd, Jr., Lawrence, Harold and Chesley Glenn and a sister Virginia Biddix all of Spruce Pine.
A graveside service for Mrs. Brewer will be held Sunday September 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Glenn Cemetery with the Rev. Lawrence Glenn officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to the Gideon’s International c/o Mitchell County Camp PO Box 611 Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
