Anyone can personally do what they want to do. They don’t have to act on anything on an opinion page anywhere that many people are reading, some of whom might want to act on what they read, good advice or bad, dangerous or safe. If one person did or did not find malware on their computer at any given point in time doesn’t prove or disprove anything in a fast-changing digital environment. Anyone who has intelligently worked on computers for years and knows how to deal with malware knows that.
