I’m one of the people who uses the word troll here. Whereas troll refers to people who post online to provoke others, sometimes for their own amusement and sometimes as part of a coordinated campaign, I only RESPOND to trolling, disinformation and misinformation. Challenge it so as to give readers a different perspective. I do not generate posts to provoke or amuse. I don’t generate new posts at all. I only respond to trolling, misinformation and disinformation with facts and opinions based in fact. Please don’t be so ignorant as to think the readers here aren’t smart enough to recognize that. While in an anonymous forum it’s always possible to confuse trolls with those who have been trolled, the disinformation with the misinformation, it’s usually pretty clear to anyone who hasn’t fallen for a troll that one or the other is going on. That has nothing to do with differing beliefs or opinions in the way some people seem to think it does.
