In Burnsville specifically, where has anyone seen panhandlers? Other than the guy with no legs who used to post up at McDonalds for years and now he’s at Ingles. That guy doesn’t bother a single soul here and quite frankly, I feel bad for him not bothered by his presence.
I’ve never seen anyone other than him in Burnsville, so I don’t understand the paranoia of it coming to every corner.
If you are that concerned, maybe go talk to the commissioners, council, or mayor and see if an ordinance can be put in place that prohibits it.
