Robert Franklin Hoyle, 88, of Bakersville, died after a period of declining health on Friday, October 13, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock Hoyle and Mabel Hoyle Pressley, his step father, his sister, his brothers, his daughter Martha, his wives, his sons-in-law, and several other in-laws.
Robert is survived by his daughters: Mary Putman, Roberta Hoyle, Sandy Holland, Kay Perez and Janice Hoilman; his grandchildren: Junior Grindstaff, Charity Stewart, Teri Johnson, Pennie Hughes, Matt Barnes, Roy Putman, Rocky Putman, Cassandra Smith, Tiffani Huffstetler, Brandy Holland, Krista Snow and Alisa Kitchens; twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; his sisters-in law: Celene Pressley, Betty Kate Norman, Eunice Turbyfill, Anita Ballard, Brenda Blevins, and Louise Hinson; brothers-in-law: Michael Blevins and R.D. Blevins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was a farmer in his early years, then a truck driver, head of maintenance in Catawba, NC, and in retirement, returned home to the farm.

A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, October 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Lily Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lily Branch Baptist Church (3125 Snow Creek Road, Bakersville, NC. 28705) for cemetery maintenance.
