I recently as well as many family members received emails from a certain political party soliciting people to run for local offices who shared their extreme political views. Beware of folks who (not by chance, but deliberately move into your area from who knows where, become a resident and suddenly fun for office. I personally have stopped reading the opinion page because of the fussing and fueding. What happened to just good old common sense dialog about the real issues that affect our communities? It seems to me like people who DONT live here are chiming in on things of no concern to most. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but things have gone to far on this page with labels like MAGA, QUEER COMMUNTY, TRUMP BASHERS AND BIDEN BASHERS! How about get right with God, live right, die right? Oh by the way how did your garden do this year? Anyone have any apples for sale, how’s your family?
