While I’d be the first one to say we need to overhaul a lot of what has granted undue power over the lives of citizens to a minority who are overrunning and manipulating the process set up by the founding fathers, a process devised in many cases to limit the the power of the people to govern themselves, not to mention determine just who get to be “we the people,” I’m always hesitant to take the advice of anyone who thinks it’s simple. The first words out of the mouth of most con men is “It’s very simple.” No, we need change and it’s going to be very hard.
