A recent comment about the marquee sign at the entrance to Mtn. Heritage High School got me thinking about the sign in front of Burnsville Elementary School (BES). The BES sign requires manual changes to the wording using letters placed on it – it is not a marquee sign. Since the beginning of the 2022 – 2023 school year, the statement “BES – We’re wild about learning” has been posted on the sign. The same message has been posted for over a year! It would be helpful if the school used this sign to inform parents about upcoming events like half-days, picture days, and school spirit weeks that are happening soon. Just a thought.
