In my opinion, women have a right to do what they want with their own bodies. Some of them may face consequences for whatever actions they take, positive or negative ones. Knowing precisely where one set of rights end and one set of rights begin, mother and child, is generally speaking above my pay grade. But in individual situations where I know nothing about the health and well being of mother, child or anyone else, my opinion is irrelevant anyway. I am astonished at the hubris of those who think they have the right to tell a woman or every woman, what they can or can’t do in such circumstances. It’s mind boggling to me, cruel and mind boggling to me.
